ADMISSIONS
Registration on the
Course:
Registration is the pre-requisite for access to
facilities provided by the college; students who
do not register are not able to make use of these
facilities or obtain a Student card (Full Time Students
only). Once you have chosen your course and have
sent us the completed application form, with all
necessary supporting documentation provided you
meet all entry requirements, you will receive a
welcome pack. You will also need to read, sign and
date the terms and conditions form included and
it will also involve making provision for the payment
of tuition fees. Candidates must complete the Application
Form and return it to the College together with
the following:
1. Three passport size photographs
2. Certified photocopies of qualifications
3. Evidence of work experience (where applicable)
4. The Registration Fee of £100 (non refundable)
On receipt of the admission form
& related documentation, the College will send
the applicant a letter acknowledging receipt and confirming
the course for which application has been made, the
course fee, the date of commencement and details of
the maintenance funds required for the duration of
the studies. The letter will also state that in order
to pursue the application further, the applicant will
need to remit the appropriate tuition fee for the
courses. Overseas applicants may use this letter to
process foreign exchange through their Central Banks
these will be required by various authorities and
should be kept safely – please do not lose them.
ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS
Your entry requirements will depend upon the course
for which you have applied, so please check individual
course requirements. Please be aware that you will
need to produce the original certificates upon arrival
prior to the commencement of your course, failure
to do so will result in us regarding the documentation
as false. As an Adult/Further education College, 17
years is the minimum age for admission.
There is no upper age limit for admission

as valid or equivalent in the UK. If you have any

ENGLISH
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
You must be competent in both spoken and written English
before joining a course at the College (apart from
ESOL), as you will otherwise be unable to fully understand
and follow your course. Before commencing a course,
you may be asked for proof of your English ability.
This is requested in the form of an English Language
test such as IELTS or TOEFL, which will also help
you identify your strengths and weaknesses. The College
runs intensive courses for students of varying levels
of proficiency. The minimum recommended IELTS score
for entry to the College is 6.0
Please note: Students that do not meet the recommended
English level for entry, may in some circumstances,
be offered extra English tuition at the college, and
for this an extra 3 months needs to be added to your
course duration. Students who qualify for this are
usually have a minimum of IELTS 5.0. Less than this
and the College will request you to do an English
course prior to accepting your application.
