ADVANCE DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Three compulsory subjects: Plus two from the following options:

• Corporate Strategy and Planning • Strategic Marketing Management
• Managing in Organisations • Strategic Human Resource Management for Business
• International Business Case Study Organisation
• Corporate Finance
• Managing the Information Resource

Entry Requirements
Applicants should hold the ABE Diploma in Business Management or Business Administration or equivalent, or at least 5 years relevant professional experience. No exemption is granted from any subject in the Advanced Diploma Examination.

Assessment
The Advanced Diploma papers are set and marked to the level of the second year of a UK Business Studies degree programme. 150 study hours are devoted to each subject. Following passes in the requisite five subjects above, the successful student will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Business Management.

The Method of Assessment for all ABE subjects is by written examination and the
following Grades are awarded:

Grade A - 70%+ Distinction
Grade B - 55-69% Credit
Grade C - 40-54% Pass
Grade D - 30-39% Fail
Grade E - 29% and below Fail

Candidates will be notified individually of their results normally about two months after the examinations.
